The purpose of this endowment is to provide our members and friends with the opportunity to make charitable gifts to the church that will last forever. Participants of formal planned giving programs demonstrate their faith in future generations by providing resources that insure the long term financial stability of their church. Legacy giving insures a perpetual contribution to the ministries of the church because only the income is distributed for actual use. Endowment gifts are separate from the regular donations given to the church. They create funding for ongoing and future ministries of the church that may not be supported through tithes and offerings.

Your gift, when combined with the gifts of others in an endowment fund, is an investment that will continue to grow and provide support for the future ministries of CUMC.
