Jesus said,
"Store up your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy them, and thieves cannot break in and steal them. Your heart will always be where your treasure is."
Matthew 6:20-21
Future generations must also
praise the Lord."
Psalm 102:18a CEV
"As a pastor it can be frustrating to realize our church cannot focus on ministering to the communi-ty as we would like because funds are not available. Knowing the income from endowment gifts can provide for unexpected maintenance expenses during the year gives us the opportunity to truly serve those around us. Planned giving offers our members the opportunity to continue to support CUMC indefinitely. I fully support this program."

~ Rev. Dr. Matthew D. Stewart ~

"When the church began talking about establishing a planned giving program we began asking our-selves what we wanted our legacy to be. As we thought about it and asked the Lord what our response should be we became filled with gratitude as we reflected upon the enormous blessings in our lives. We fully realized that there is nothing more important than sharing the gospel message; leading people to Jesus Christ. Therefore, we have decided to designate a portion of our estate to go to this endowment fund, helping to ensure the ministry of CUMC continues for future generations."
